TEDSIG/NOTSL Scholarship for ALAO 2026 Conference: Call for Applications
NOTSL and ALAO's TEDSIG invite applications for two scholarships to support attendance at the ALAO 2026 annual conference. These awards are intended to support and encourage technical services staff to attend and/or present at the 2026 ALAO Annual Conference.
The ALAO & NOTSL Executive Boards have partnered this year to offer two grants:
-
A conference Attendance Grant for registration and travel expenses (up to $200); and,
-
A conference Presenter Grant for registration and travel expenses (up to $200)
Technical services staff currently employed in any Ohio library are eligible to apply. In addition to registration, monies may be applied to travel, lodging, and presentation-related expenses.
For those applying for the Presenter Grant, priority will be given to applicants with an accepted program or poster proposal for the upcoming ALAO conference. Co-presenters may apply jointly for the grant, in which case grant money may be shared amongst the awardees at their discretion.
The Academic Library Association of Ohio (ALAO) exists to develop, promote, and improve library and information services in Ohio's higher education community, to advance the interests of academic librarianship and the personnel of academic libraries, and to provide leadership and advocacy for the educational and policy concerns of the academic library community in Ohio.
