CAROL BRADSHER, Founder of Experiential Learning, is a library consultant with over twenty years of experience in libraries. She has designed and presented training sessions for the Ohio Library Council, Ohio regional library systems, the State Library of West Virginia, and developed the successful "Guerilla cataloging" series for INFOhio. She also teaches cataloging for Ohio Dominican Univ. and Kent State Univ. Carol also worked as a consultant for OPLIN to implement MORE, the Ohio statewide resource-sharing program.

GREG WELLER is Web Applications Manager at Cuyahoga County Public Library. He started out in cataloging, and as the Internet grew, he joined CCPL's Information Technology Division. Greg has an MA in English from the Univ. of Pittsburgh, and has always been interested in how technology can enhance communication. Greg has been working his way through the Chinese Zodiac giving presentations on metadata for various Ohio library groups. He started with “Metadata in the Year of the Snake” and is now looking forward to the “Year of the Rooster.”

JEFF CALCAGNO is the Director of Sales and Customer Support at Syndetic Solutions, a company he co-founded in 1998. Prior to establishing Syndetic Solutions, he worked for over 12 years as a technical services account manager at Blackwell’s, supporting library database preparation services. He was a commentator at the Library of Congress’ Bicentennial Conference on Bibliographic Control for the New Millennium in 2000. Mr. Calcagno received his undergraduate degree from Portland State Univ. and an MLS from the Univ. of Washington.

LINDA CANTARA has given presentations on metadata to diverse audiences in the United States and Europe. Cantara holds both an MSLS and MA in English from the Univ. of Kentucky. Since January 2004, she has been the Metadata Librarian for the Kelvin Smith Library at Case Western Reserve Univ. Previously, she was Metadata Librarian for the University Libraries, Indiana Univ., Bloomington, and the Program Coordinator for Research in Computing for Humanities at the William T. Young Library, Univ. of Kentucky, Lexington.
