Tours take place on Thursday, September 25, 2008
To reserve a group tour spot, include $4 for a Cleveland Regional Transit Authority all-day pass with your registration form and specify which tour you prefer.

Tour 1: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Rock Hall)
Time: Meet at Renaissance Cleveland Hotel Lobby 12:45 PM —Leave hotel lobby promptly at 12:55 PM
Cost: $16.75 Admission (pay at Rock Hall Hall) + $4 for an all-day RTA pass (pay with registration). *see below
A Discount Voucher (click+print) is required to get the $16.75 Rock Hall admission rate.
Those who would prefer to arrange their own transportation and schedule may take the discount voucher to the Rock Hall and purchase tickets at their own convenience.
* The Rock Hall is approximately a mile from the hotel, so those who enjoy walking can forego the RTA pass.
Tour 2: Walking tour of University Circle
SaraJean Petite, who has worked her entire career in University Circle, will lead this walking tour. The total mileage will be about three miles, with no segment longer than one mile. In event of rain, the CircleLink shuttle service will be used, and there will be somewhat less walking.
Time: 11:45 AM (Meet at Renaissance Cleveland Hotel Lobby)
Cost: $4.00 for an all-day RTA pass (pay with registration) + Lunch ($5-10, pay at the cafeteria)
WEATHER
The late September when the OLAC-MOUG 2008 Conference takes place, the daytime high temperatures in Cleveland typically range between 63-74 F (17-23 Celsius) and the nighttime lows typically range between 44-54 F (7-12 Celsius).
Evening temperatures are cool, especially by Lake Erie, so bring a sweater and a light jacket. An umbrella is advisable.

Close to the Hotel

The Renaissance Hotel is on Public Square in the heart of downtown Cleveland, within view of Lake Erie. It is surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops, and is within walking distance of a number of attractions, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Public Library. Adjacent to it is the Tower City Center Mall, with convenient eateries and shopping for conference attendees.
